You are invited to a talk on Jewish Bioethics at a Sunday Lunch & Learn with Rabbi Dr. Yossi Cohen on December 17 at 12 noon. Topics to be covered are Stem Cell Meat, DNA in Halacha, Vaccinations, and Heart Transplants. The is no cost for this program, but reservations are required by Monday morning, December 11. Daf Yomi at Sons of Israel
Our Daf Yomi group, the daily study of Talmud, got a shout-out from Rav Eli Stefansky at the Mercaz Daf Yomi in Bet Shemesh. A visitor to our community was so impressed that he took a video and sent it to Rav Eli, who played it before the next day's lesson.
