Driving Directions to Sons of Israel

From Philadelphia: 

Get onto the Schuylkill Expressway, Route 76 W.  Take the Blue Route Exit, Route 476, which will take you to the North East Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
Head North on the Turnpike for 37 miles.  Exit at Lehigh Valley Exit.
Take  Route 22 East, then Route 309 South.  Exit on Tilghman Street East. You will pass the Wegmans Supermarket, then Cedar Crest Boulevard with the Giant Supermarket, then go for about 1/4 mile, until Broad Street (which comes after 28th St.). Make a left onto Broad, and pull into the synagogue’s parking lot on your right. Enter from the back entrance, which is adjacent to the parking lot. The synagogue’s address is 2715 Tilghman Street.

From Manhattan: 

Take Lincoln Tunnel to the New Jersey Turnpike South. Exit on exit 14 (Newark Int’l Airport) and follow signs to the I-78 west. Take I-78 west for about an hour and a half all the way into Pennsylvania. 

From the Pennsylvania state line: 

I-78 goes straight into Allentown. Exit on Cedar Crest Blvd (exit 55) - this is about 20 miles from the PA state line. Make a right off the exit. Go straight on Cedar Crest for about 2 miles, until you get to Tilghman Street (a major intersection with a shopping center with a Blockbuster Video on the corner). Make a right onto Tilghman, and go for about 1/4 mile, until Broad Street (which comes after 28th St.). Make a left onto Broad, and pull into the synagogue’s parking lot on your right. Enter from the back entrance, which is adjacent to the parking lot. The synagogue’s address is 2715 Tilghman Street.

From George Washington Bridge, northern New Jersey and Monsey: 

Take I-80 west to I-287 south to I-78 west (if coming from Monsey, take NY Thruway north to I-287 West/South to I-78 west). Continue on I-78 for about 45 minutes (30 miles) all the way into Pennsylvania. Follow directions above from the PA state line.

From the Verrazano Bridge, and South or Central New Jersey: 

Take I-287 North to 78 West. Continue on I-78 West until you get to Pennsylvania, and follow the directions as above from the PA state line.

From Baltimore (and points closer from the west): 

Take I-83 North to I-81 North to I-78 East. Right before you reach Allentown, I-78 will fork into I-78 (to your left) or PA-22 (to your right). Get onto 22. Go approx. 3 miles and exit on Cedar Crest Bl. At the top of the exit (at the light), turn left onto Cedar Crest Bl. Continue until the first major intersection – Tilghman St. – and turn left onto Tilghman St. The shul will be on your left side about ¼ mile down the road. Address: 2715 W. Tilghman (between Broad and 27^th St.). You can turn left onto Broad and park in our parking, and enter through the back of the building.
